This is a PowerPoint for the full first lesson on Drugs Education for Year 11, although can be suited to any year group depending. Includes links to suitable videos, and activities, such as drugs classification, debates, etc. Any notes also in the presenter notes to support the teacher.

Continuation from Lesson One - start of lesson through use of classroom debate planned and prepared in previous lesson; followed then by a video on marijuana use based on real-life stories. Follows on to information on a range of different drugs as fact sheets.

Assembly I have created for my year group on Valentine’s Day. Suitable for any age but ideally secondary school students. Uses up to date research to share with the students, guidance and advice on their wellbeing on Valentine’s Day, and some brief history of what Valentine’s Day is all about. Gives opportunity for questions and sharing discussion within assembly too.

This has been written as a tutor session for International Day Of Happiness (20th March every year). However, this can easily also be an Assembly or form part of a PSHE lesson. This could be approximately 20-30 minutes long.
